Honda Civic Hatchback Engines with Eco Assist™ System

All 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback models are powered by a 1.5L Turbocharged Engine. In the LX. EX, and EX-L trims, this engine produces 174 hp, while the Sport and Sport Touring bump that up to 180 hp. The Civic Hatchback engine comes with the Honda Eco Assist™ System, which can help Miami Lakes drivers conserve fuel. Here’s how:

  • First, the system will inform you if your driving habits contribute to fuel-efficiency via a color-changing display around the speedometer. If the display is green, your driving habits are efficient; if it’s blue, you’re probably wasting fuel.
  • Second, with the available ECON button, you can change the Civic Hatchback performance profile to favor fuel conservation.
